You can't force happiness and you also can't wait around for it. So what do you do? You set an intention to find it. And it can be found every day if you know where to look.

The real fabric of our lives is in the little things we experience every day. This painting was inspired by a mountain that I often spot from multiple places around my home town of Wanaka. I have painted it many times but it began with the happiness I often felt from seeing 'Mt Maude' and the inspiration it gave me.

'Happiness found' was inspired by intentionally choosing to create a series of simple black and white landscapes that were refined and simplified.

From within that intention happiness was found.
